What you would like to see from COD/ROF

I suspect the Foo'bar is speaking of the poorly implemented reflection visuals, and the visuals from the cockpit in general regarding the props in CloD.

Was terrible in the last patch.

The animation of the pitch changing is very good, to my mind, however.

Agreed the prop animation and fire are much better in ROF.

Its not a fair comparison between RoF prop animation and Clods as WW1 planes didn't have variable pitch as far as i'm aware... However sun in the prop disk in clod was way over done imo.

I hope BoS is a combination of the two.

CLOD - Clickable Cockpits!!!

ROF - Stability + Support for those that need such things, heh.

Hmm, those cliffs look rather flat from this distance away... hope we get some up close shots soon.

ROF gun flashes animation

Rearm-Reload-Small Repairs with timer adjustable by Mission designer. (Part of this feature shows in Full Mission of ROF but I don't think it has completely been implamented...yet:))

ROF - Simple and user-friendly GUI

I like ROF's GUI more than any other sim I play.  It has come quite a long way.

I hope they improve their map color considering Oleg's photographic vision and mistakes of Clod color. Basically I want somewhat between Rof and Clod map color.

I would ask more for daylight for improved level.

BTW how much RoF would cost if I would buy everything they offer in one pack up until now?

New Feature: Convincing AI and aircrew Voice-Acting.

Clods voice acting was straight out the worst I have ever heard in any flight sim. RoF has never tried it yet. I'm pretty nervous about what we might get.

@FSM, Thanks for the tip! ;)

RoF, completely, all the shop offers, WITH Christmas sale reduction, comes to about 260 Dollars.

Actually it would be nice if the developers had the time to spare, to give a rough outline what they plan.

That would save endless threads of speculation of what might or might not be expected.

Just as a thought.

Utterly impossible to get ArmA level ground textures in a flight sim simply owing the the map sizes.

As I recall the "Afghan" map in ArmA2 is a whopping 16 miles square.

It's simply not possible and have it run on any PC, no matter the spec.

Can we include War Thunder in this as well?

I'd like to include the vehicle dust from WT. On full real settings it makes it easier and more realistic to spot moving armor/truck columns from far away. This was much harder in IL2 and CoD for me. RoF was a little better. But WT nails it for me.

First take a look at this ElAurens

then  read about how fast they were making and how big view distance was.

After that take a look at the date of upload.

In the end put " maximum map sizes in Arma 2" in search machine

The base map of Chernarus is a good 80 square miles, by the way.

DCS style mission editor with similar easy to use trigger system so that people who aren't programmers still can make deep and complex missions.

FUNCTIONAL GUI (don't think 777 will screw it up but just in case :))

CEM (doesn't have to be super advanced, something along the lines of il-2 1946 and CloD, engine too hot open radiator etc.)
