Koci Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Och, I remember similar effect in older version of IL2 Sturmovik, it looks really stupid :-) It was corrected with some patch or/and graphic settings, not sure, long time ago.
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Sadly il2 graphics engine has some old limits (here hoping a new engine comes soon *Cough Crytek* or *Unity* im not sure on the IL2 game engine itself but i doubt the game devs even made it (probably a 3rd party engine reused - No offense Devs)Other than the above lod problems with treesThere is also very short grass Render range due to grass rendering being so GPU intensive because how its written in this engine.Normal Grass range is only 100 FT!! The "Distant Grass" setting is only 300FT if it were done properly it would be like atleast 1km (3,300ft)Also as for the MAX Render range of planes and things being ONLY 10km bubble around the player (to alter this it would require a new game engine)
