Nvidia 3d vision, triple monitors and troubles with BOS/BOM

Hi all.  Running an sli 3d vision rig from an I7 2600k (stock) and two 680's with 32 gigs system ram (it was on sale).

Seems I can run single monitor with no issues and use 3d vision.  When I switch to my preferred mode (5040x1050) across three monitors (thanks again devs for fixing this issue) the game crashes.  It happens whenever I start a mission and the mission "pauses" and wants you to hit "pause" again to continue.  As soon as I do so the game crashes.  It does not appear to be a specific setting in my NVidia control panel (I've tried all kinds of settings, usually deferring to the "fastest" or least system taxing method).

With the advent of a possible move to support oculus and vive in the near future, perhaps this is an issue you might encounter in your development cycle.  Hell, I don't know if the issue is even related.

However, I can confirm that it did once work without crashing some versions and some time ago.  Trouble is I don't know if it's my updating my drivers constantly to the latest versions that may be causing this issue, or if it is related to the ongoing development and tweaks that may be occurring with the development of the game's rendering engine.  Regardless, it worked before and either something I've done has "broken" it, or something changed in game.

Now, while on the subject of triple monitor rendering, the game's maps and display at the main menu (as well as loading screens) are somewhat borked on a triple monitor system.  I'm sure that is because there are not many of us around and fixing this issue for those of us that have it may not be as high a priority to fix as other more important work that benefits a larger segment of the community, and I understand that.  At least I can choose between the two (triple screen without 3d vision, or single screen with it) for now.

Thanks for your kind attention developers.  Perhaps you can replicate this with a testing setup sometime if your schedule allows, although I do not know if anyone else experiences this issue.  Please comment below if you do.  I would find that helpful at least.  S!

See this thread herehttp://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/21236-plp-running-flawless/...not sure if 3D mode will work for a custom resolution but I would give it a try.  I have a few ideas if it doesn't work.  Just let me know.

I have no 3D experience but I do recall seeing that you must run your monitors in landscape mode for 3d effect to work?  something about the way the monitors render the 3d it will not work in portrait  mode.  This could very well be outdated information as far as I know but I wanted to pass that along.
