Dserver request question

Is a special username, key required to use the Dserver or can it be hosted on the same computer that I play the game on without one?

 

I made a requst 4 days ago and have not heard anything is why I am asking, perhaps it is no longer needed since I have not heard anything.

I'm sure u need to get a reply and specific account. Try PMing a member of the dev team and submitting another request.

You need a separate account to be able to run the dserver.

 

You can run the game and dserver on the same pc- I do this every week. The sequence is:

 

Start game

 

Alt-tab out

 

Start dserver and run a mission - when you run dserver you use your dserver account details to log into the master server

 

Go back to game and join the server that should be in your multiplayer list

 

Tip: if you use TrackIR make sure you start the game first then dserver. If you start dserver first TrackIR "locks" onto that first and does not run in game.
