mackattack99 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi guys. Finally got the game. Quick question what is the diffrance between ultra and high? Also is there a way to turn of the motion blur? On a side note i think the game is great. I have to say the unlocks are kinda anoying but atleast it will force me to play the campaign. Also wish they had more graphic options. Really is kinda silly that thats all they have considering thats one of the big bonuses of pc.
Asgar Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 no idea about high/ultra, but to get rid off the motion blur deactivate the cinematic setting in the camera menu
DD_Arthur Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hello mack and welcome to BoS. Whats the difference between ultra and high? Er.....not sure. In fact not sure whether anyone other than the devs know what is changed. Personally, if I fly online I select balanced. If I fly offline for the full eye candy then I select ultra. To get rid of the motion blur go into Settings > Camera > uncheck "cinematic" down on the bottom left. Unlocks and graphics options? Yeah, we know...................
mackattack99 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Wow thanks for quick reply guys. I will certanily do that as the blur is really distracting. Otherwise its a beautifull game. Now i just need to get a track ir. I have a seitek x52? So that should be good for now cant wait to start getting into a solid sim again.
=SqSq=Sulaco Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Also, depending on what kind of rig you have turning SSAO off can make a massive difference in frames per second, would def recommend turning it off if you're getting any frame drops. See ya in the sky!
Jade_Monkey Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I tested yesterday and lowering from ultra to high i could tell the ground textures were worse when i was taxiing. I didnt notice anything in tge cockpit.
Remontti Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Ultra and High have difference in how far forests, single trees and roads are rendered.
