Ok, so it's for the Gear, but I see no reason why it can't be a retro fit addon for Rift or Vive.  Obviously it needs input from developers but the potential ( with caveats of course) for flight simmers is just phenomenal.

 

The next few years, better with less, foveated rendering, eye tracking, inner ear stuff could just be mind blowingly incredible ride for flight simmers.

I just hope all those companies doing VR gadgets aren't going to prevent cross-brand compatibility. I wouldn't mind getting the lightness of the Oculus Rift with the controllers of the HTC Vive and then these Gear VR inner-ear stimulators.
