Sokol1 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Fighter pilots use leather helmet, eg. the one depic in CloD, RAF Type C: http://www.jonnywilliamson.com/product/wwii-battle-of-britain-era-raf-headgear-collection http://www.ima-usa.com/original-british-wwii-raf-type-c-leather-flying-helmet-with-mk-viii-goggles.html http://www.culture24.org.uk/asset_arena/9/19/98/289919/v0_master.jpg
Veteran66 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 maybe this one: http://www.oakleafmilitaria.com/095h42.html Fighter pilots use leather helmet, eg. the one depic in CloD, RAF Type C: http://www.jonnywilliamson.com/product/wwii-battle-of-britain-era-raf-headgear-collection http://www.ima-usa.com/original-british-wwii-raf-type-c-leather-flying-helmet-with-mk-viii-goggles.html http://www.culture24.org.uk/asset_arena/9/19/98/289919/v0_master.jpg No, some pilotes have selfmade helmet for flak splinter protection
VPK_CARTOON Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Thank you guys ! Is this one correct for luftwaffe fighter pilot of BOB ? - http://www.ima-usa.com/original-wwii-1937-german-luftwaffe-lkp-s101-summer-pilot-flying-helmet-with-throat-microphone-and-earphones.html
Sokol1 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Everyone know that CloD is a collection of wrong things, but if they did this correct, the models depict are Lkps 101 - fabric for Summer (the one in IMA link) and Lkpw 101 - Leather, for Winter. No, some pilotes have selfmade helmet for flak splinter protection Fighter pilots? Those are "field mods" no count. Edited March 13, 2016 by Sokol1
