sideslip due to prop / power variations...

Other than in the LagG3, and the Bf109s, I seldom notice any significative ball displacement in the TC in almost all other BoS fighters.

In the P40-E it's notorious how, at almost the full speed range, one can go from idle to "military" and then back to idle, and the "ball" stays almost centered all of the time, even if we use the stick to keep wings level....

How can I interpret this outcome ?  Is it because there is probably not enough resolution in the Turn Coordinator / ball to really see the displacement when propwash / torque / p-factor cause sideslip or simply because most of the fighters in BoS were really like that (  feet on floor ) ?

i just tested the p-40 but i may not be able to add much. I found that the nose went to the left and the ball went to the right a noticeable amount. is it the amount of displacement that is questionable? i'm no expert or anything i'm just saying what i experienced.

i just re-read your op and i didn't test from idle to military but to emergency. no noticeable movement from idle to military.

Thx for the further info LeRocket!

That's what I find kind of weird, the only exception being the first model we had for il2 BoS - LagG3 - and the German fighters...
