=CFC=Conky Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) I'm quite enjoying the sp campaign. I have both BoS and BoM and so far, while flying for the LW, I've gone up against I-16's covered by Mig-3's, and P-40's covered by Yaks and I've enjoyed some good fights with MC202's, 110's and Emils while flying for the VVS. Hardly feels like a grind at all. Pip, pip, =CFC=Conky Edited March 6, 2016 by CFC_Conky 6
Bando Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I loved it too. After playing the campaign I did several more missions on the campaign system. What bothers me after a while is the fact that you know where and when enemies will show up. So when PWCG came along I jumped on there and never looked back. If you really like the SP part of this sim, you'll install PWCG sooner or later. Having fun is the most important thing. 1
LLv24_Zami Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Good one Conky! I liked it too, played all planes through except He-111. Have to finish the Heinkel some day. Having said that I would have preferred more traditional campaign but it was ok. I still play it with Warhamm`s career generator. The missions have evolved a lot from the first days of the release and are mostly quite enjoyable these days. I loved it too. You have a good point there Bando, it`s too predictable where the enemy will show up. More surprises would be most welcome. Campaign missions have been getting a lot of improvements during the last year IMO and developers have stated that are more planned in future so I am sure it is getting even better. I hope we can get rid of that action/exit point stuff at some time and have some more actual campaign around those good missions. Edited March 6, 2016 by Zami

You can start at January 1942 and the campaign stretches to the March 1943 IIRC. There`s over a year covered in that case and you are flying almost daily. So lot`s of missions
ShamrockOneFive Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I'm quite enjoying the SP campaign too... I still play a few missions every week. I pick and choose what aircraft I want to fly. It's been a lot of fun! I have gripes with the SP campaign system that I'd love to see addressed sometime but by and large it's a positive experience.

I do the same, the 'Approach to the Volga' seems to have the best variety of aircraft to fly against. Good hunting, =CFC=Conky
