New Austalian DServer issue.... what am i missing :(

Hi Guys,

First off I wanna say this is an awesome game! my mates and I have a ball....but on weekends we would like to host an Australian server.

Now a question.... I have followed all the instructions.... And have got the server running on my *GAMEING* pc and it works with out any problems.

NOW...... When I do the same setup on my 2nd computer (That I wish to be my server)....no one can successfully connect. The router is the same.... Same win7......same settings.....same room.....just an older pc (i7 920 - ati 5800 etc) This older pc is what I want to be the server. My new pc is much faster and is what I play on.

Issue: When ever someone connects....they connect.... it only loads for a few seconds..... then it stops loading for them and then they get the message that they cannot connect. Looking at the Dserver screen their name never comes up as entering the server.

Points:

* I Can connect to the server from my GAMING pc through *Wireless* and play but no one else can.

* If i run the server on the GAMING pc everyone can join. And I can join using the older pc....and we can all play...

* Same Operationg system *Same Anti Virus settings * Same router

What am I missing..... I even moved the router to have a direct connection to older pc and put the wireless onto my gaming pc to see if it was a wireless problem......same outcome.... for other outside trying to join.

So the server will run fine on my Gaming PC....... But no one can connect if I run it on my older PC I use for hosting......

I'm doing my head in guys......i might go mad and forget to pull up doing a STUKA dive bombing :D:D:D:D:D

Thanks Guys!

Have you set any port forwarding on the router?

Some thoughts:

- Is your mission in the exact same folder on the second PC as it was in your gaming PC? Make sure that the .list file entries point to the correct location.

- Is the DServer IP set to the IP of your second PC?
