Guest deleted@50488 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 One of these virtual days, while at an online server ( Expert ) I was trying to pick my beloved Fw190 A-3, but the scriot kept telling me there was some problem with the airbases and I should instead fly a supply aircraft ? Well, it came to my mind it might be referring to the He-111, but even when chosing that one I was gettng that very same message. What exactly was I supposed to do ? Thx for any enlightnement...
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 72AG DED Expert Random Beta etc etc, yes? While I haven't gotten the message yet, I believe you need to go to a rear airbase, click on it then select a He-111 or Pe-2 that is named 'Supply'. Then you drag that aircraft to the front airfield as far as I know, land it, finish the mission and get a message saying you now have 2 aircraft.
Guest deleted@50488 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Ah! Thx Lucas, that's probably it!!! And yes, that was the Server! Great!
Trinkof Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) and you'll have to fly more than one aircraft : -supply fighter give 250 supply point-Bf 110 and like 350-He 111 ... When you have 500 suplly point, they are debited, and you have a new aircraft. You can type : status in the game chat, and wait, server will tell you how much supply point you have and how many aircraft. (sometime the delay before the answer is several minutes) Take note : the most awesome feature of this, is that it is permanent , and stay from mission to mission ! It really forces people t be careful with their aircraft and virtual life ! S! Edited March 1, 2016 by LAL_Trinkof

=SqSq=Sulaco Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Can you stack supply points? For example, if you fly only supply crates for a day or so will you have a heap of points to burn through or is there a ceiling? Edited March 6, 2016 by Y-29.Sulaco
216th_Xenos Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Can you stack supply points? For example, if you fly only supply crates for a day or so will you have a heap of points to burn through or is there a ceiling? Yep, but only max of 3 planes and 499 supply points.
=SqSq=Sulaco Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Yep, but only max of 3 planes and 499 supply points. Very cool, I'll have to jump on there and check it out more often, sounds like a great setup!
Dutchvdm Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Hi Guys, I'm kinda stuck at this. During the last two weeks i smashed my three Bf-110's and now i keeps telling me to fly supply mission. I'm fine with that, but i can't figure out what to do. I'm on DED expert and flew one Bf-110 and one He-111 from the rear airfields to the ones close to front. Nicely put both aircraft on the ground and ended the missions. But there was no message whatsoever. Did i need to park in a specific place? BTW: This is not critic. Just a question. I like the concept. I would really like if they would add the Ju-52 and Li-2 for this, but that's another discussion. Thnx Grt M
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 You don't get messages for completing a supply run. To know if everything worked as planned, type 'supply' into the friendly chat and wait about 2 minutes for the reply from the server letting you know if you have enough aircraft or not.

Thnx Grt M You have to take any Supply aircraft from the airfield which has one, take-off and land in another airfield. Once you accumulate enough supply points (500 to be exact), you will get another aircraft. 111 gives 450, 110 gives 350 and a supply 109 gives 250 supply points. Sometimes the system bugs and it doesnt record that you did the re-supply trip. You can check your supply points and number of aircraft available by typing "status" (without the ") in the team chat. Dutchvdm Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Hi Herr_Istruba, Ok thank you. So are no complex mechanics like park on a specific spot? Just land, get of the runway safely and end the mission. I will try the status thing later. Thnx Martijn
SYN_Mike77 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 You have to send the status message to your side by hitting control enter. This setup seems like a bit of a pain but I am coming to love it. Those supply planes aren't armed and you feel naked up there. It really does change the way you fly! 1

Feathered_IV Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Actually having a real supply loadout (or God forbid an actual supply aircraft) would make things much more interesting. Certainly more so than seeing everybody take 5% fuel and an empty crate so they can make the kessel run in eight parsecs. Though perhaps it is just down to limited English on behalf of the mission builders who do not realise that more aptly describing the task as ferry flights of replacement aircraft would make the whole arrangement suddenly plausible and able to be understood in an instant..

Or just not overthink it 3
