LLv34_Temuri Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Is there a maximum number of linked entities allowed in a mission? The reason I'm asking is, that I just noticed a couple of AA pieces that I've linked MCU:s into didn't have linked entities, although I'm quite certain I've created them.

Only limit is whether your system or server can handle it. Use the Tools: Integrity Check. Within the ME. While this can be exceeded. Try to keep it under control when designing MP Missions. Editor will drop links on general principles every once in a while when you Save Mission under a new name or move mission to another folder. Sometimes for no reason at all. Best to check things before thinking mission is finalized. Good Luck with your mission building, Tip 2
JimTM Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Thanks Tx_Tip. Are you saying that a clean integrity test means that links won't be dropped (that you are aware of) if you save the mission under a new name or move mission to another folder?

Something I never really looked into whether a Clean integrity test affects ME randomly dropping things. As I believe most MDs exceed that. I know I do to a certain extent. Used to be able to exceed it greatly in MP. Now not so much depending upon the number of Players flying. Put that in for the OP to consider when designing playable missions. Good Question.
LLv34_Temuri Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 I guess I need to check how many entities I should have, as I know how many items there are in the groups I use and the number of those groups, and then compare it to the number shown in the table in the lower right corner of the ME. If there's a mismatch, then I know somethings amiss.
