I just received Delans Clip and am not sure which program would be the best.Could you guys help me with this ?

And also for people who are using a non trackir clip, did you remove that IR blocking lens  from your PS3eye and placed the floppy disk ? Due I was just putting a red and blue filter over my PS3 eye it did pick up but wasn't as good..

From what I understand FaceTrackNoIR is much more current than Freetrack and it has plugin and settings to configure for using LEDS just the same. I don't currently use any TrackIR so I can't say about the compatibility with BoS but I believe it works after you update a csv file https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bd6DOGGc8g. I have been researching what it takes to build one and you want to check your PS3 Eye version to see if you have the one with a removable IR filter. http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/5189/ Good version has curved outer lens, Bad version has flat lens. So if you got the version you can take out the IR filter then take it out then try your blue/red filter or other filter methods.

You're better off editing your own. Someone else's profile would be as much use to you as someone else's underwear.

You do have a point..But wanted to know do you use all of the options that trackir or tracknoir offers ? Like roll, lean, etc.. ? Also do you guys use deadzones in axis , jaw etc ?

Just trying to figure out what's necessary and what is not. Due I have some issues getting used to head tracking.

Thanks!

I used a sort of flattened "m" shape to my curves when I used it since my setup wasn't sensitive enough for any deadzone. Curves are fairly easy to customise, you can edit them on the fly IIRC. The main problem you'll face is centering, I'd make sure you assign a key to quick center or you'll have problems with shooting.

Try Opentrack, it is receiving updates regularly and works nicely with BoS. I also have Delanclip.
