Hello,

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder 2 FFB stick, which I am very fond of. Broadly speaking I really like the implementation of FFB in IL2 BoS, gives a nice feel. However, I've noticed a few glitches.

Sometimes I'll find the stick will do a weird juddering type motion for no obvious reason, making a sound like: chud, chud, chud. Going to the Input Device settings, and enabling and disabling the Force Feedback Enable option usually seems to fix it (sometimes requiring a few tries). I've also found sometimes it just doesn't provide any FFB at all, or only provides FFB on the pitch axis (none on roll) again turning the FFB Enable on and off usually fixes it. Of course, doing this whilst in the air is a bit cumbersome, and sometimes the only way I can fix it is restart BoS.

Has anyone else found similar problems? Or is it just me?

Yeah I've had similar but it's very infrequent. I usually do what you've been doing :)

I have the same problems. From time to time FFB on the pitch axis get lost. Then I have to restart the game and it works again.

Had this problem, changed from USB3 port to USB2 and never had it reoccur

Thank's DakPilot I never thought about plugging it into a USB 2 port rather than a USB 3 one. Seems to fix the problem though!

Also thanks DD_Arthur the FFB feels nicer now :-)
