Unable to Takeoff, Prop Pitch not Adjusting

Greetings All, and thanks to anyone who can help.

 

 

 I have returned to IL2 after a good long break, but I still remember the controls. So here is the situation, while trying to relearn the Ju 87 and He 111 I noticed I can not get the planes to roll. After ensuring the landing break was toggled off, I still could not have either plane to rolling out of the parked position of the runway. 

 

 With the Stuka I tried adjusting the prop pitch, and the gauge would not adjust at all. After several attempts I got the stuka up in the air once, however again I had no response from the ATA gauge to prop adjustments. With the throttle at 50% I kept getting engine at "take off" conditions which ended up damaging the engine. (I am use to IL 2 COD, the ATA gauge adjusts from prop pitch high and low. Is this not the case in BOS?)

 

 There seemed to be an invisible brake that I can't find effecting my planes. My rudder pedals (wheel brakes) are not applied and I toggle the landing brakes after engine warm up. What else am I forgetting?

 

 

Any tips to what the issue is would be greatly appreciated.

Check that you have Propeller RPM Control (Soviet) bound, that is the problem. Don't know why the Stuka uses a bind labled "Soviet" or why different planes have different binds for the same thing. I don't see why there isn't just one prop pitch control for every plane, etc...
