I do believe there is something wrong with the Bf family on several aspects, flaps included, and will do some testing on that.

What are the sources commonly used when it come to bfs flight manual?

Don't do it, don't go there, you'll only be letting yourself into a world of pain and frustrated misery.

I could argue that it couldn't be more frustrating than flying russian planes vs german ones  :P

I'm not a good "combat" pilot by any means but the one thing I never got about the Yak god flaps was that I never got a good advantage from them like people say they give.

I fly both teams and I feel very safe in a 109 but in a yak yes I can use flaps for the brief snap shot or evasion. Actually I can invade a ok 109 all day long but never have I felt a yak with flaps or not can really start to dictate the engagement. If coe E or lower.

I'm sure the Yak flaps were wrong to some extent but this major outcry I don't understand

But cool they have had a revision!!

I sum it up as luft butt hurt lol

we like to call it Lufftwhieners. Because obviously the german data (not biased at all) is the most accurate and true data there is on the world. (mmm I wonder what they think about the BMW incident?) jokingly is how I mean it.

Well that's fine, but only because you didn't make that observation many very expirienced pilots here had in common does not negate it's existance ;)

It was very fishy on both the Yak and the IL-2. From the short time I've been flying on expert servers I've seen less and more moderate use of flaps which is a good indication since pilots didnt drop flaps all the way down whenever seing an enemy fighter.
