The newest addition to the Finkeren household as of this morning. Welcome to life Lyra :)

Depending on how her mood turns out I might be a less common sight around these forums for a while.

For now she seems as peaceful as a Weimar Republic, but who knows? At any moment she might transform into a Third Reich of colic, diarreah and ear pains.

A beautiful daughter Finkeren and family !!--congratulations.Best to start collecting items for the "Barbie Emergency Center" I have joked that I have had to fix things from around the house from cars, dryers, washing machines, plumbing and of the hardest task was treating a broken Barbie or related dolls arm, or loose head,or loose leg, or ********************  :)   ( It was fun---embrace the journey friend !!! )

Congratulations, and I wish you all the best in your new life.

Apparently the best way to carry babies after the first few weeks around is attached to your chest facing out so that they can see what is going on.

You should be able to arrange a  small harness that does not interfere with your joystick for when you are on baby duty at home...

As a matter of fact. My oldest daughter spent many hours sitting on my lap "flying" along with me, when I was on the sim. She kinda lost interest after she turned three, but she still occasionally asks me to fire up the PC so we can go for a flight.

Congratulation to the proud dad an welcome to this theatre called Earth Lyra. :)

Since my sons are growing into puberty, the Baby-Age seems lightyears away from my perspective, since all

the little problems, troubbles and joys slowly transisted into another forms of beeing. ;)

Congratulations! Just put together a CD album of quiet aircraft engine noises from the sim to put her to sleep.

Actually, I like that idea :) My first born slept to Brahms, Mozart and Händel for the first year.
