Java problem?

Hello Patrick,

 

As I got a brand new PC, I installed everything from scratch.

I have the latest version of Java installed.

The sim runs fine and PWCG makes missions, but every time I'm on the mission map and I want to go back to the campaign, or edit the roster, the map stays sticking and if I move the mousepointer over the sides, I can see the menu of the expected page shimmer through.

Don't know how to explain, so here's a picture:

 

I started this new PC with win 7, where everything run fine.

Upgraded to win 10 and now have this problem.

I've reinstalled Java several times, reinstalled PWCG several times, made the download more than once, I don't know what I did wrong.

 

On my last rig with win 10 and the same resolution it all worked fine.

 

Suggestions?

I had the same, solved installing Java 64bit (if you use a 32 bit web browser then the Java page will download by default the 32bit Java)

Aha!

 

I'm using win 10 64 bit, but I need win internet explorer to install java.

With Edge and with Chrome it was refused.

 

I'll try to install a 64 bit version.

 

EDIT:

Manually downloaded and installed the 64 bit version of Java and problem solved.
