HippyDruid Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I came across this the other day on the BBC Future site. It's quite an interesting article. http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20160201-the-wwii-flying-wing-decades-ahead-of-its-time
1CGS LukeFF Posted February 11, 2016 1CGS Posted February 11, 2016 Why is the N-9M never mentioned in articles like this?
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 They have the last example but still don't knwo how to call it properly? It's either Ho IX or Go 229. Ho 229 is a horrible misdecleration probably caused by confusion and wrong documentation. The Ho IX was't the first flying wing to gain fame btw, the Horten brothers build flying wing aircraft as early as 1933 and won several glider copmpetitions.
Cybermat47 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Why is the N-9M never mentioned in articles like this? Because adding the word 'Nazi' means that you'll get 110% more views 2
