Bomb runway missions

Just started practicing with the He111 and was tasked to bomb a runway. Landed my bombs throughout the center and my 250 hit dead center of the runway. No bombs seemed to destroy anything though. Mission stated that all bombs missed so no experience .

 

Is there any particular targets at runways that I should be aiming for?

I dont remember getting runway attack missions. Re you sure it said runway? I only got airfield missions last time I played the campaign and there were always like 5 Pe-2s, He-111 or similar that you had to destroy

It is a pity that those missions are not there.

I can imagine in the war they were fairly important missions to destroy a runway, even though the maintanence crews would have had them back up again in a few hours or so. It would tamper the flight schedule of the enemy, therefore important.

 

I wish we had some more mission types. Runways, bomb damage assessment runs, recon, etc.

Drop it in the Questions thread and mention the DED crew got it working - it shouldn't be top hard to implement, perhaps they can add these to the BOM campaign:)

Ah confused airfield with runway but glad my mistake led to a possible improvement xD...

In FNBF runways are already targets ( 5 sectors if i remember well) so it s already possible in the ME ...
