Group Manipulation

Hi every one I was wondering how you save a group and then import them into another mission?

 

My aim is to create my own data base of groups to make things quicker, please help

I figured it out for some reason at first the groups where not being loaded but now they are. Strange.

 

So to answer my own question, you right click on a group in the mission tree and select " add to selection".

 

Then select file then "Save selection to File".  Save in folder of your choosing.

 

To load the group just go file then "Import from File" and volar it will be loaded

You can also just select some icons (grouped or not) in the View Port, right click and choose "Save Selection to File".

 

If you place your saved file in BoS directories

 

\data\Missions

or

\data\Multiplayer\Dogfight

 

(including sub directories), the file is available in your Objects Library under "Groups".
