[DBS]airdoc Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Hi all Is there a way to adjust the parameters of the external cameras ? I am talking about things like the position of the F3 (fly-by) view relative to the plane, the limits of zoom for the F2 camera, the speed of the F11 (free camera), etc. Presumably these parameters should be in a settings file in the game directory (like the conf.ini in IL2). Thanks
Asgar Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 i recommend using the mouse to controll the F11 camera, it's much more precise than the keyboard. Haven't tried it, but maybe you can map it to a gamepad as well?
[DBS]airdoc Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 thanks for the reply Asgar, I 've experimented with the mouse and it is helpful. However, if one could manipulate the aboslute speed of the external camera it would be really helpful for video making purposes. It could be bypassed if there was a no-cockpit view option, but alas there isn't one.
Asgar Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) try the Alt+F2 views, you can switch through a couple with that combination. i think one of them is a camera in the nose of the plane without any plane parts obstructing view IIRC Edited February 9, 2016 by I./JG3_Asgar
[DBS]airdoc Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 i ll try it thanks for the suggestion
