Mouse Control Issue on Multiple Monitors

Hello :)

First of all, I want to say that IL-2 is by far the most realistic World War 2 flight simulator I have ever played and am very happy to own this game. GREAT job on all the research and work you have done as well!

I am having an issue in which the game will jump out and minimize to the Window's desktop, while I am using my mouse to control the plane (Mouse Control Mode). This is due to having more than one monitor for my PC system setup. This issue occurs in both full screen mode AND windowed mode. I know this game is a joystick based game and I may receive some backlash for using a mouse instead of a joystick, but it is pain in the butt to have to disconnect all monitors in order to not click out of the game.

Any talks on fixing this issue or any other suggestions other than disconnecting the other display monitors before launching the game?

Thank you!

You could disable instead of disconnecting the monitors in control panel.

Not ideal i know

Yea, that's what I've been doing every single time... before the game launches. Good suggestion though!! :D

Just hoping there can be a more permanent fix so I don't always have to do that for this game only...

I use this for BoS and other games that don't take other monitors into account. Works a treat. I didn't create it, but can confirm that I have not had any malicious/malware/adware issues with it.

Put this in your startup folder so it starts with Windows so you don't forget it.

1. Start command prompt (windows key+R)

2. type "shell:startup" press enter

3. Add shortcut to AutoMouseLock.exe in startup folder

Be sure it's set to run as administrator in the shortcut settings (not sure if it's a 100% requirement, but I do it).
