Blitzen Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm delighted flying the 110 in campaigns furnished by PWCG,not only are they interesting but I can 'fly" it in Custom mode ticking off added rudder authority which solves the yo-yo-ing found in this and other BoS aircraft while using a MS FFB stick. My biggest problem is this ;getting the thing down after a mission. It will not slow up.With full flaps & no throttle & gear down it actually speeds up in the shallowest of altitude loss on final. Its very tough to get it below 224KPH- way too fast for a safe landing, my crew and me float all the way down the runway with tiny bounces thatin no way slow up the aircraft. Its hopeless even entering the pattern downwind& extending this way down the line to crosswind ( during this banking turn with everything 'out" I can get it below 190KPH )but the second I turn into final & try to stretch out slow flight at a minimum of altitude the speed goes right up again without me touching the throttles. I have done tests with Normal settings & I can get it down rather more easily- it seems to perform as per expectations. It slows down with reduced throttles, slows more with flaps & of course more with gear down...so is this a glitch? Have others noticed this? Should I bring it to the attention of the developers,or is it just me?
Yogiflight Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I am flying in Expert-Mode and I never had problems with landing. I always come down with about 190 km/h. Sometimes, when I´m coming down a bit too deep I even have to give more throttle to get it to the runway. Sometimes I have to slowdown a bit by giving 20 percent flaps, before turning to landing. Just try not to be to high and have enough space to your airfield before turning to landing, then it should work.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) 200-190 km/h landing speed with landing flaps should be fine. It's a heavy bird and has large wings so it requires considerably longer finals than single engine aircraft. What it excells at compared to most aircraft in BoS is the ability to sideslip. It's wonderfully stable and kills altitude pretty fast. You got to be carefull not to go too, that weight needs some time to recover. Edited February 4, 2016 by Stab/JG26_5tuka 1
Y-29.Silky Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 No problems here either. Except when someone blindly enters the runway as was the case of my first 110 landing. 1
Asgar Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 yeah, i think landing it is very easy if you're on a good aproach. (even if you're on a bad approach most of the time)...if you're really to fast, just do a slip. punch the rudder and keep it in line with the aileron.

II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm not sure if you coined the term but I am using "jaywalker," to describe this behavior from now on!! 1
