6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Well, it's in the headline. There is no speed difference between having the rear portion of the cockpit open or closed. At Sea Level I got 441 with it up and down.
Monostripezebra Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 did you use autolevel? I think I noticed in the Mc202 that when you jetison the canopy on autolevel, it doesn´t slow down at all.. but once you turn it of, then you will not reach the same speed again.

Monostripezebra Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 More like a minor bug, but I guess when used online with a fighter in pursuit, using that little extra speed to keep him more in a tailchase for better gunnery defesen.. it may be a tiny exploit. But you can not evasive maneuver, so it´s usefullness seems limited to me. Maybe some further testing is in order...
