3./JG15_Hans Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Hey guys, I really recommend you to download the latest version, it doesn't have issues like the previous versions and it has an installer.exe. Just download and extract it wherever you'd like(I recommend to create a folder in My Documents). Then, press the .exe from the files and a Window will pop up. Press "select game" and search for your IL2BOS.exe (or any other game you want) and double click it. It will automatically uninstall the previous version and install the new one. Simple as that You can enable/disable it by pressing "scrlk" at any time. As for messing with the profiles, it's the same as previous versions of SweetFX. Here's the download link: http://reshade.me/sweetfx Cheers guys!S Edited February 1, 2016 by JAGER_Hans
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) link? Nevermind, got it. http://sfx.thelazy.net/downloads/ Edited February 1, 2016 by 12.OIAE_Stick-95
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 It's a real time post processing software that allows you to enhance the look of the game (any game). Things like contrast, sharpening, color levels, etc.
NN_Elanion Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 A lot of information for SweetFX settings here : https://delightlylinux.wordpress.com/2014/01/20/sweetfx-shader-suite/
Yazh-29 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) Do you have the profiles? Edited February 25, 2016 by =RV=GUIGNOL
Bando Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 A lot of information for SweetFX settings here : https://delightlylinux.wordpress.com/2014/01/20/sweetfx-shader-suite/ Thanks for that link.
NN_Elanion Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Do you have the profiles? Not really, sorry. The setting depend a lot of your hardware (monitor, graphics card settings,etc....) and what you prefer as image quality. You can gradually give it a try by changing one setting after other and see the change. I'm not an expert and i'm testing like this.
Bando Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 @ Guignol: In *.*\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game\SweetFX you'll find a file called SweetFx_settings.txt You can open this file in any text processing program (notepad for example). Reading the above stated link and processing that file is pretty straightforward. You'll make your own profile and it'll take you about 15 minutes to do so the first time. It can always be adjusted to your needs in a few seconds. If you change a setting and save it right away, you can see the effect immediately in game if you have SFX enabled. Good luck.
Bando Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 In SFX dither can be set on/off and in a 1 or 2 pattern. I did not see any difference. Are you referring to this, Mastiff, or some other form of dithering?
NN_Elanion Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Good explanations for sweetFX settings here: https://delightlylinux.wordpress.com/2014/01/20/sweetfx-shader-suite/ Good flight .
