Il-2 BOS not available offline?

Hi,

 

I got Internet connection problem last week end and I couldn't launch IL-2 BOS...Is the game available offline or only with an Internet connection?

 

It would be a shame if it is..Before I could laucnh Il-2 1946 offline...

You can log in on it offline for QMB, normal missions and pretty sure for PWCG

 

what may have happened last week is that there was an issue with the server for a short while when the update was being published, this may have been the problem if it was waiting for the update

 

If i have lost internet i can play with no problems in the types mentioned above, you cannot use the standard 'campaign' which does need internet connection and obviously multiplayer

Sorry but I just checked again offlline and when I launch Il-2 BOS I get the aucnher windows and it says "Failed to update" and no option to launch the game..How must I proceed please?

If you are using the non steam version, delete the contents of the 'Updates folder' and re-launch

if your pc is offline, use il-2.exe instead of launcher. It is stored in bin/game/ folder

Misread your post did not realise you were offline. my suggestion above would not help in that case
