Free view when driving tanks

Hi all,

 

is it possible to look around freely using trakIR when driving tanks with the hatch open as it when flying a plane?

Yes, it should work normally.

Once you are in the commander position (open hatch) you will see a little round yellow circle and can only look by moving the turret.  To change that you have to use the Turret Take/Leave Gun toggle command.  Then you'll have the TrackIR available to you.  Unfortunately, you have to do this each time.  (I see a macro in my future.)
