How do you update?

I've seen lots of posts about the new 1.107 update and every link I've followed only is a discussion about the update. My game isn't from Steam -- so how do I update to 1.107?

The launcher should do everyting for you

Never mind -- I was booting the game from a different screen. I booted from the  game launcher and it's updating as I write.

Well -- I don't fly multiplayer so can only comment on single player -- but I haven't enjoyed a WW2 sim as much as this one since European Air War! In fact I haven't flown RoF since I bought this sim -- and I love RoF! I'm constantly impressed by what these developers have given us!

Guys, terribly sorry bringing this up again, but I'm experiencing the same bother of updating. Crockett just said he got round to it by booting from the launcher. I take that to mean that one cannot click on the game's icon on the desktop and have the update work. So the game launcher will have to be one of those small icons labeled 'launcher' located in the games folder, right?

Sigh! Nothing seems to be working for me. The launcher.exe says I can PLAY but when I click on the big red button I'm told to update the game. It's becoming dashed annoying when everyone else is looping the loop over the Stalingrad skies for weeks now.

Some people have had success by deleting contents of update folder and re launching (non steam) have not needed to do it myself

it is long time i didnt play the game, same rl , same pc problems and so on. I wonted to play the game so i run the launcher and download starting and runing,

but after same time it kills my pc and i have to do a hard reset.

I trayed a couple of times and it hepens evry singl time. And i relly wont to see what the game look like now.

You might try to reinstall game completely.

Thx Zami, tray theat to but didnt work. I guess the problem could be my pc. I m having problems with it (pretty old ) , so it could be the windows and hardver related. Rof is working ok, and download for SC wich is a similar like IL2 is working.

Thx for replay. I hope i will kanage to make it work. Didnt play IL2 for a long time.
