For me by the end.... yes. freeze and disconnect.  A team mate expérienced a freeze and disconnect while engaging a AAA during the ten first minutes of the mission.

Mamayev Kurgan (Height 102)

Situation: Mamayev Kurgan is a dominant height overlooking the city of Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad). When forces of the German Sixth Army launched their attack against the city centre of Stalingrad on 13 September 1942, Mamayev Kurgan (appearing in military maps as "Height 102.0") saw particularly fierce fighting between the German attackers and the defending soldiers of the Soviet 62nd Army.
Control of the hill became vitally important, as it offered control over the city.
To defend it, the Soviets had built strong defensive lines on the slopes of the hill, composed of trenches, barbed-wire and minefields.
The Germans pushed forward against the hill, taking heavy casualties.

To win the mission a team has to complete five tasks.

COMBAT TASKS(VVS)
The VVS objectives are to support the advancing troops of the 284th Rifle Division and to attack targets in the enemy rear.
1. Destroy the enemy tanks and vehicles in Cheliuskin - 243.8.
2. Locate and destroy the enemy train. The train location - 313, 349, 350.
3. Destroy the artillery at the height 102 - 350.5. The battalion must be destroyed before our attack begins.
4. Destroy the tank convoy - 314, 315.
5. Destroy the Beketovka airfield - 421.5.

COMBAT TASKS(BLUE)
The units of the 6th Army are defending the height 102. Luftwaffe objectives are to support ground troops and to attack targets in the enemy rear.
1. Destroy the tank convoy - 385.
2. Locate and destroy the enemy train. The train location - 458, 422, 421, 385.
3. Destroy the artillery in Bobrov - 350.3.
4. Destroy the enemy tanks and vehicles in Ivanovka - 457.5.
5. Destroy the Akatovka airfield - 279.5

therefore the MATCH is VALID for the Tournament!



At this point, congratulation to the BLUE TEAM which won for Targets Destruction 5 to 4 winning the 3rd RUN.
Anyway, very effective than ever the action of French Team which was at one bit from the Victory!!! (ONE TANK only!)

Really Balanced the Target Results 213 to 216 (only 3 targets!!!)

This mission seemed to have been a pretty close match!

Cipson, yesterday with NN we saw that there was an option in mission file to punish friendly fire. It seems that sometime there are planes that are exploding mid air without any explanation (see petio's twitch). perhaps you should take a look at this variable? 

If you can't find it, ask Fahrenheit, he knows it

As the mission maker is ill, the mission has been delivered today instead of Saturday evening. I would like to thank Gagarin for the job he does on this WOI Challenge. I hope he'll be fine soon.

 

Therefore, due to a lack of time for being in the state of readiness required for the mission at task, we ask to postpone the mission by one week. That is to say we would meet on April 6.

Hello Cipson,

Problems for entering in Game depend from the contemporary accesses of 70 Pilots, therefore all Players have the same situation, also Blue.

Yesterday we had 5 minutes of delay due to tech reasons, therefore Server starts not before 21,35.

At this point if you were in cockpit at 21.44 you had to wait other 6 Minutes before start engines.

If Message "go go go" didn't appear, we advise our Game Master Nik Voss.

In any case, just to front similar circumstances,  it's Mandatory that , at least, 1 French Liason Officer must stay on ITA Teamspeak for urgent Communications and yesterday I wasn't in condition to advise anyone...

 

The Standby Period was already setted to 15 minutes...

 

Anyway, the Match was fine and without Net problems, therefore this is already a Success, moreover The French Team performed a wonderful victory on a difficult Mission, therefore Our Best Congratulation to French Pilots which have finally found the Winning Teamwork Formula....

It was very amazing yesterday your first attack on airfields was a great pressure for us ! Good try guys !

For the "GO" issue we faced yesterday here are 2 things to avoid it :

- The go message should be set in the general tchat too by the 2 teams, so we know everybody had the notice and it could be seen by pilots not in their cockpit. It could be said also in the TS server of each team (from their officer)
- We could use more than 2 airfields. We have to spawn with delay because we already faced airfields being full. So now we set an order to click "START" button and the first that are in their cockpit have to evacuate the parking to let the others spawn. With at least 3 airfields we wouldn't have this issue if we go on separate airfields.

 

Next to this, this was a very great fight yesterday! We had a big fight at the end near Karpovka, I'll try to make a movie from my track!

Briefing Mission "Commando!":

Date: 01.01.1943

Time: 09:55

Weather: Overcast, light wind

 

Victory Conditions: To win the mission a team has to complete four tasks.

 

Victory can also be achieved by capturing an enemy aircraft at the front-line airfield.

To capture an enemy aircraft:

1. Land any aircraft at the designated location.

2. Take off after 5 seconds. If successful the "The saboteur has been deployed" message will appear.

3. After 5 minutes the enemy airfield will be captured.

   The airfield will be available for 15 minutes. During this period a transport aircraft has to take off from the captured airfield. The aircraft needs to land at a friendly airfield to complete the task.

4. After 20 minutes the airfield will be targeted by enemy artillery. Note that a friendly airfield becomes available and is automatically resupplied after every 7th successful landing.

 

COMBAT TASKS(RED)

1. Destroy the railway station at Kalach - 379.7. Target trains, cars, and the station buildings.

2. Destroy the railway station at Lyapichev - 450.9. Target trains, cars, depots, and workshops.

3. Destroy the trains and enemy vehicles - 449.3. Target vehicles and trains near the bridge and the nearby train stations.

4. Locate and destroy enemy convoy at Verh. Rubezhny - 520.

 

COMBAT TASKS(BLUE)

 

1. Destory the fuel depots at Ryumino- Krasnoyarsky - 307.2.

2. Prevent the enemy from crossing the river at Verbovka - 415.2. Target boats and vehicles in Verbovka.

3. Our Intelligence reports that the enemy tank attack is scheduled for 11:15. Destroy the tanks before the attack begins - 450.1.

4. Destroy the depots at Shabalinsky - 521.
