S! Great image, thank you again.

Here you go, I restored the Emblem of I./JG52 from scratch, (as I did not have the emblem in a layered *.psd or anything). Well I do now

I looked at the colour from the original image, saturated it a little more, then chose a colour pixel that was closest in tone. The Red may have been a little brighter, maybe towards a Tomato Colour?

 

I have updated the Bf109F2WinkelVier.7z file with the new I./JG52 Emblem, (just before I wrote this post). Alpha Channel also emended and tweaked slightly for the Luftwaffe Insignia.

Lt. von Hofe was the Technical Officer (TO) of I/JG 20, under Hptm. Hannes Trautloft, through the 1940 French Campaign, and remained TO of III./JG 51 when the unit changed its designation in July, 1940. He did not score any victories through the end of the French Campaign. Vom Hofe continued with the Stab of JG 54 into the Russian campaign. 

He was wounded in May 42 and shortly thereafter transferred to Galland's staff I think. He ended up with 21-22 vics

I have to say, although in this case, This ceramic color, in many cases, color painted fuselage. especially in the theater of operations.

 

It is an insignificant detail, which as I say is only in some cases.

This is G-2 replica, original Ha-1109 from Gatow (today on display at Luftfahrt Technisches Museum in Rechlin). They painted over post war. Trying to make a copy of geschwaderkommodore G.Rödel machine (II./JG27 white 4).

I see a lot of custom skins using the same weathering that came with the plane from the developers. This plane has custom weathering, a custom alpha for that weathering, and is a complete custom leader skin. I only adjusted the leader's skin because I didn't want to sort through a bunch of numbers as I have to do for other unit's skins.

Hello!

 

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've done skins before for other sims, but this is a first for BOS.

 

 

Bf 109 F-2, Werk no. 6741

Flown by: Lt. Karl Materleitner, Flugzeugführer.

 

This F-2 made an emergency landing in the town Kristianstad in southern Sweden on 9th of October 1943.

The landing was performed on a field next to an army base, scaring the pants of a lone conscript standing guard at the gate.

 

Lt. Karl Materleitner was based in Denmark, he lost radio contact and got lost in fog, followed by running out of fuel wich resulted in the emergency landing.

The aircraft was kept by the Swedish Airforce, and testflights were performed. After the engine was damaged, the aircraft was scraped in December 1943.

 

Lt. Karl Materleitner was returned to Denmark in November 1943 with another german pilot who had crashed on the same day with an F-4 in another part of Sweden.

 

This is only the first version. I'm sure updates will follow.

I have to thank in particular a member of the 15(span)/JG51_Coto., the dedication that I had to give me information that will never be found in books.

 

I do not mention his name without his permission but from here I thank him for allowing me with his information, to be able to successfully

complete all skins of the Second Squadron with a minimum margin of error.

Hi, Pilots and Friends, Devs and lovers for this simulator. All !!

 

Following with the Blue Squadrons, specifically with the 2nd Squadron

 

Before continuing with more numerals and more pilots, I am working with the conversion of those that are already finished

 

Well, I continue with the transformation of the skins to Winter, we know, well, I know that there are still many aircraft and some

special numbers, but I will continue to work at the fastest pace I can to have them all ready as soon as possible.

 

I have to remember that this work is unique, although many do not value it as such, these skins that everyone will enjoy,

are in many cases, exclusive and never or maybe someday they can see a photo, but only if the owner decides Write a book or make them public.

To been and is being a work with much love and precision, not only of colors but of History

 

As I said in the last post, 15 (span) / JG51_Coto is a person collector and knows the blue squads enough to write a book, and even though I am the artificie and the creator of skins, without everything This would be impossible, but as I say, I hope the community values the effort of this pack. A greeting and I hope you enjoy it as well as 15 (Span) / JG51_Coto and me, we enjoy delivering it to you.
