I have visited this musuem twice. Once 20 years ago and again 12 months ago. The first time I really struck it lucky. My wife is Polish and the manager at the time was my wifes first boyfriend when they were teenagers. Being a private pilot I had the grand escorted tour and got to sit in several of the a/c on display.

 

Well worth a visit if you are ever in Krakow, as is the military museum in Warsaw.

I got the heads-up on the http://www.muzeumlotnictwa.pl/digitalizacja_archiwaliow/digitalizacja.php site over on the SoW forums and thought "Ah! Must post this on BoX!!!".  But, sure enough, Lusekoft had already found it well over 18 months ago.

 

In any case, it is definitely worth a bump, as there has been a LOT of BoX progress since them and it is always good to tie things back into the historical documentation. If you've not seen the Polish digital archive, it is well worth browsing!!
