SCG_Space_Ghost Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Not really a scientific valuable observation! The second sentence makes it further questionable. Silly Robtek, you should know that if you point out inconsistencies in the Axis flight models, no matter how minuscule or how glaring, you are automatically a Luftwhiner. You should commit yourself to the following: Lern 2 fly gud Stop whining OP luftworfe nub Lern 2 pilot nub Ur doing it wrong Get lernd on how 2 fly 1v1 me so u can get on my lvl /s
Monostripezebra Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) I don't know, I took out the F-4 today was still able to out turn Yaks for multiple gun solutions. Let's not turn into Luftwhiners here. As someone who decidedly flies all sides and loves all planes regardless of nation, I still think that may have more to do with loadout and pilots flying them. Post a vid if you want to objectify the debate, but after all practical testing I would say there is little to debate on the turning.. the yak also beneifts from good acceleration and very low energy loss.. especially with flaps full out. I think that is an overall area in which the modeling of BoS is different to reality, I noted that on Stuka, Il2 and others too, but it is most present in the yak. Basically the 109 is faster and better climbing, but once i catch up with one in the yak, it is very singlesided.. as the speedloss in turns is very unqual and the inicial dive acceleration of the yak is minimal higher to equal to 109.. so it takes a good bit of dive for the 109 to distance itself. Divetopspeed let´s the 109s escape, but the yak reasonbly well holds together and even the loss of an aileron is hardly feelable in the flight after that. I may be making a vid demonstrating these very clear points, when I have time for it. overall, I think the BoM matchup F2 vs Mig 3 might yield more interesting fights.. as yak vs f4 pretty much means the F4s need to stay boom-n-zoom on the yaks But my heart still belongs to the Rata ;=) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhZ3zIYXYcE Edited February 5, 2016 by Dr_Zeebra 1

Yes that's it. No one in their right mind would want that. Being accused of being an ...ugh, Luftwhiner. So, let's just brand anybody who has the audacity to question the way German aircraft are represented as a "Luftwhiner" - that'll shut them up for sure. And if "Luftwhiner" gets old, (for example, if people start going around greeting each other by saying things like; "what-up Luftwhiner", maybe we could start accusing them of hate speech. Hmmmm .... maybe they're not embracing aircraft diversity. Maybe we need to look into that...
