Worst airplane of them all. But with 37mm, things can turn around!

From 6mins onwards, this video perfectly demonstrates what is meant by wobbling aircraft in BOS!!

Look at a real aircraft in flight it doesn't fly absolutely straight and level. it bobs somewhat as it travels through the air with the pilot making many micro adjustments on the flight stick. This is particularly noticeable when he is flying wing at around the 2 minute mark. An aircraft should not fly on rails.

Guys let's not turn this into a spiritual successor of the other wobbling thread. Good video, nice gunnery and although the AI on the I-16 makes some weird mistakes indeed it can still be a pain in the rear to hit.

The physics of this game does that, and I think the reason is the digital joystick and finger maneuvering , and oversensitive rudder pedals. If you take this effect away I think we will see a "dead" environment , sort of. I have crosswind rudder pedals and a replica 737 yoke and my LAGG do not fly like that. I does not easily counter (overcompensate) movements. We get the same effect driving 70 tonn mobile cranes in 80 km/h. If you counter a movement you soon find yourself counter yourself out of the road.

Anyway that is my opinion, no proof, other than I do not get those movement with my yoke, but I get them if I am careless with the rudder pedals .

And I find your video very entertaining, I fly LAGG a lot, simply because this plane simulate excactly how the pilots that flew them expirienced. I am glad to see someone makes kills with it

I should have mentioned, I put in strong winds AND strong turbulence. And the LaGG-3 is crazy, it's just a bag of nuts. With wings.

I can make it look like flying an airplane under the right conditions though (=no enemies, nice weather, no stress).

And Lusekofte, nice to see there's more LAGG-masochists out there. I mean, it's just such a pain!

Do not get me wrong, I think you flew it perfectly, the little wobbling mentioned is not really any problem. Kling is used to COD like me, the flying there are in a so called  dead environment. No turbulence or wind resistance. I like cod as much as I like BOS. but I disagree in the argument. I think this wobbling is part of making the simulation of real flight in this game very good.

It is a myth that you could sniper shot with a light fighter like you can do with digital  joysticks and no physics working against you. A cannon make recoil and following a plane make turbulence. So the wobbling is really a feature that make the experience more realistic in my opinion

I first read COD as CallOfDuty, felt very weird...had to think for a minute there. But I love CODover too. It's a bit better in some departments, like I get near perfect fps WITH good graphics too. But then again, it doesn't feel as dirty/gritty as BOS. Recoil? Yup, we got that in BOS :)
