1CGS LukeFF Posted January 14, 2016 Author 1CGS Posted January 14, 2016 You mean when you load the template? Well, that's part of what I'm trying to figure out - what file is the template? I'm familiar with how the editor works (from working with ROF), but I don't know where/what the template files are in BoS.
Jupp Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 ~S~ LukeFF, The Templates, are Group files. The same as if you create custom ones, or download some that others make. To Access them you go to File, Import from File... then select the Path to the Template folder in your Program. (typically C:\Program Files(x86)\1c Game Studios\IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad\Data\Template) Each of the default files offered, are a layer, of either the buildings, the bridges, or airfield objects, for the map they correspond to by name specifically. When we make missions, we usually delete out the areas that are not in direct proximity of the action after loading them on the map for the mission, to conserve on load times and resources.
