ThudThunder Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) Stay safe guys! I have seen my share of tornadoes, they can be pretty nasty. Edited November 17, 2013 by Pip22
Jaws2002 Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 Look at ll that activity: They extended the Tornado watch from northern Michigan all the way to Arkansas and along the storm front, there are tornado warnings everywhere. This low pressure system was sucking moisture from the gulf of Mexico for two days and now it exploded in a big way. Look at the wind map: http://hint.fm/wind/ Lots of warm air and humidity was sucked in the area.

Rjel Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Really really late in the season for tornadoes in our neck of the woods. Bizarre weather to be sure.
ImPeRaToR Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I read "brace for Imp!" and thought "what did I do now? :("
Cybermat47 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Oh well, it probably won't be as bad as that typhoon in the Philipines. Keep that in mind.
Dutch Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 It was a bit windy here too a couple of days ago. And it rained. Bloody weather.
Rjel Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Oh well, it probably won't be as bad as that typhoon in the Philipines. Keep that in mind. No it probably won't be. But like most things in life, when it happens to someone it doesn't matter if 100,000 die or are injured or just one, if you're the one it's a big deal. 1
ThudThunder Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Latest reports is 65 tornadoes and three dead Hardest hit in Illinois, I think the city of Washington IL in particular. Our thoughts and prayers are with them!
Cybermat47 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 No it probably won't be. But like most things in life, when it happens to someone it doesn't matter if 100,000 die or are injured or just one, if you're the one it's a big deal. Fair enough. Latest reports is ... three dead R.I.P. I hope no-one else dies.
