IE11 - Trouble with this site

Hey gang,

So I went ahead and upgraded from IE10 to IE11 a couple of days ago. Since updating, I can no longer " quote" a post I am replying to. When I click on quote, it takes me to the reply box with nothing quoted.

Just curious if anyone else is having this issue? I realize I am probably in the minority here,  however I really do prefer IE for my browser , guess I am just so used to it.

The only thing I could think of to try, was adding this site to compatibility view settings - did not make a difference.

Not having any issue with any of the other forums I subscribe to.

Exactly the same problem here, checking the IP boards software forums it seems it is a known problem with IE11

Ah thanks Bongo guess that would explain it, hopefully a fix will be forthcoming before too long.

If you install Firefox/Chrome/Opera, you can import bookmarks and settings from IE.

Imho that would be the best fix, to quit that swiss cheese boat of a browser.

I understand that and can certainly do so for this site if it does not get fixed soon enough, I however have been using this swiss cheese boat for a long time and am quite comfortable with it.

Like I said, I am probably in the minority, but that is my preference.

Thanks for the heads up, dburnette. We'll see what we can do.

No, DON'T use Internet Explorer! I had to be sent to an asylum after using it once!

I had IE11 on for a day, constant website fails, and IE restarts, utter rubbish so I went back to Firefox.

I use IE for 2 things, 1) to download chrome on a fresh install of windows & 2) to use SEOW mission planner as you cant plot flights and ground movements in other browsers.

Other than that, chrome ftw...

Ps. I was a longtime fan of Firefox but have recently switched to Chrome as it is SO much faster.

Same :)

I have both, Firefox and Chrome, use Chrome 99%

Thanks, that fixed it for me anyway!

Good to go on IE11 now :)
