Jade_Monkey Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hi everyone, I was flying the Bf110 earlier and after take off I went over the time limit for emergency mode for a few seconds. I reduced the throttle and everything was ok, and went on with my mission. About 10 to 15 min later I get a technochat message saying something similar to "Emergency mode restored", with the green emergency mode icon. Does that mean that the timer has now been reset and the initial few seconds I went over are not counting against me? I had never seen this before. PS: I know the timer is not a real thing but just a game mechanic to simulate EP overuse.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I have noticed on the 190 if I exceed the time limit and get the automatic reduction, if I reduce power to 2400 rpm for several minutes I can then get the 2700 rpms back if another emergency occurs. Don't know if this is a bug or if it is a result of the engine being cooled back to normal and getting the high power setting back.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I took it as the engine is fresh to be abused again
