6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) According to the Bedienvorschrift of June 1942 the Gustavs had an audible warning signall when the landing gear wasn't locked down anymore and flaps where extended. That way the flaps wouldn't be extended by accident. 6./ZG26_Custard Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The warning "sound" has been very nicely added in some 1946 mods and it doesn't half make a racket!
C6_Claymore Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Nope, the warning sound wasn't added in some 1946 mods, it was just "tweaked" in, it was fully intergrated in game from the first version of iL-2 Sturmovik and was always in Forgotten Battles...
Falco_Peregrinus Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 The Macchi C.202 also had a horn sound when the landing gear was down.I don't remember if it was connected to flaps down as well though...
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 As I found this was in all models of 109, even in Bf109Es.
Dakpilot Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Have to say this is one useful 'realistic' feature that I don't mind too much having been left out to date if there was a key to assign to 'pull the circuit breaker' after activation it would be cool tho Cheers Dakpilot
seafireliv Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It`s not in this sim? I don`t fly German much, but I do remember being impressed when I flew Axis and had the warning horn about my gears. I think it did it with the flaps too. It needs to be implemented.
