the inventory system has impressive depth and i like the setting, but the recent actual shooting gameplay looks like another boring counter strike esque mmo grind fest.

 

also, what's the point of the russian rural setting when everyone looks like some westernized pmc. i don't see any distinctively russian equipment except the ak series of weapons.

 

not enough information to see if this is actually good. the gunplay ad shooting mechanics leaves a lot to be desired. that part where the guy unloaded a full clip into a guy's back only for him to turn around and nail them like some 360 no scope action was cringe inducing.

People's movement and animation - both 1st person and 3rd person -look unrealistic, Dice has really nailed this with Mirrors Edge and the Battlefield 3, this looks like going back in time in comparison. Also gunplay reminds of Metro games - very unsatisfying. Shame.

Welp, new one.

Their attention to detail is really inspiring. That new video shows all the elements of firearms they decided to model or will model in future as well as mechanics and character movements. It's really impressive how far this stuff can go.

Oh, nothing special. It's just from the days when I was beginning to learn English and was one of the mistakes I made somewhere at some point that was funny, so it stayed with me. It was one of those jokes like "how does polish sound?" "like gibberish".

Ah! I see.  I thought maybe it was because the L and P keys are so close together and cause a spelling error.  A bit like the G and T keys, which once caused a work colleague to give her regards to a client as "Warm retards,".

I'm very interested, but will have to wait and see how the gameplay develops.  If it evolves into a griefer's paradise like DayZ, then I think I'd much rather skip it.

I think the concept that anyone else on the map is your enemy is quite interesting in this game, in contrary to others. In the end your main goal is to find an exit, and to escape from your current location. You don't have to kill everyone else, or even a single person to achieve that. You can just sneak around and find the exit..you can also go full berserk - and get very likely killed. This "me against everyone" fits pretty good in the game concept i think...if you approach the game in this way, there is really not much others players can do to f*ck up your game. You can also team up with other people and try to survive together/in a group. There is surely not much gamebreaking potential by trolls - i'd say way less then in a flight sim
