New controller logic - how to use Logitech G13?

With the new controller logic not using the Windows gamepad enumeration, I'm at a loss the figure out how to use My Logitech G13 keypad.

 

Up till now, it's been programmed with keyboard letters (e.g. "G" for gear down) in a fairly logical output, programmed by typing the letter you want on the full keyboard in programming mode.

 

Now Il2 doesn't recognise input from the G13 at all.

I have a G13 and experimented with it prior to 1.106. BoS wouldn't recognize it as a keyboard or joystick. I think you can set its thumb stick to emulate a joystick but I have not ever really tried that. I would think setting the G keys to emulate the key presses should work with any game. Have you tried just making a new profile for BoS?

I've just discovered that unplugging and reconnecting the G13 has cured the problem. That's despite the G13 programming software being able to communicate fine before.

 

Maybe il2 needed to re-register the device or something.
