Jester Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Who was the pilot who brought an Eindekker to a furball of DR1's and Camels???? :o All I can say is that guy either has guts or a wish for eternal pain!!!! 1
Jetlagg Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 Don't underestimate an E.III! I once ran into one online while flying an SE5a and had my ass handed to me! I saw it coming and underestimated it myself, so when he made a head-on pass that flamed my engine, I was a little surprised,
Monk Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Man that looks awesome. I just luckily grabbed one from the gift thread and now am waiting on my slowpoke internet to u pdate teh game...
MineFewer Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Ehh, pretty, but too many trees killed for that boat^. Go green, fly aluminum :D Happy Landings...

VaeTibi Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I like those flying boats! Remind me very much of Studio Gibli?
AndyJWest Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Absolute riot on the syn server :D Yup - though this attempt at a takeoff didn't go too well: I must have clipped a wave with the wingtip. I think they may need to reduce the swell a bit...
Krupi Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Okay attempt two... Absolute riot on the syn server :D 1st Mission First strike... No bombs left time to get the cannon on the go... Down she goes :D Edited December 26, 2012 by JG52Krupi
Krupi Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) 2nd Sortie I find a friendly cargo ship sinking 5 Mins later I find the culprits, two Felix busy trying to take out a U-Boat... They have no luck she's still ship shape and Bristol Fashion... Submarine spotted! Three bombs not quite on target but she's smoking... The cannon is put in to use and BOOM, down she goes Edited December 26, 2012 by JG52Krupi
Jaws2002 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Can anyone see my images? Yep. Something like this: Cool. Now they work. This boats are a hoot. :D Edited December 26, 2012 by Jaws2002
Krupi Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Channel Map Sortie! Both me and Karaya jumped in a Halberstadt CL.II and went sub hunting... Without the weight of a cannon or extra machine gun Karaya soon took the lead... We spot the submarine and a cargo ship ahead... Karaya scores a perfect hit causing major fires and get it in one pass! I am left to admire the smoking sinking wreck... I then went for the cargo ship and just miss, bloody thing is ten times the size of the sub and I still miss  but its damage and i do more with the cannon  It was then that a Felix turns up and thirsty for success I quickly turn my guns on it, luckily that extra gun works wonders and I finish him off with a hit to the left engine blowing off his wings.. (No pics unfortunately, but my third Felix of the day  ) However I was injured in the attack... I land with a few bumps but thats the least of my worries! Karaya also lands safely Miraculously my gunner comes away unscathed from the encounter with the Felix!
Monk Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 That's cool. I'll find a squadron one day to fly with, get some co-op happening in the multi seaters. Very cool.

Monk Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Been playing more CLoD of late now it runs well on my system and found the Flight FX settings I like. Never really flown the German stuff before, always gone Allied with a Soviet preference Downloaded a BF110 campaign and these were from a dawn shipping raid. Forming up The Escort Prelude to Boom! Boom! I say. Noobs... (Hmm...just noticed how crap the screenshots Steam take are. Next time I'll use dxtory or something. Too many jaggies in these.)
Monk Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 probaly had it on pause or running on very slow time to line up the shot. Didn't notice that before lol.
migmadmarine Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Ah, CloD shows the props as stopped when you pause the game?
=IRFC=Tunes Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 This one won me 100 dollars in a RoF screenshot competition. 1
Monk Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Ah, CloD shows the props as stopped when you pause the game? Must do, but seems it is only effecting the single engine ones, the 110 is fine. Dunno. Nice shots Artun
wiseblood Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Luckily for the AIs, 1650lbers don't really need to hit that close to mess something up. Always the way - whenever you're not recording something cool happens. Head on ended up with the prop and landing gear of one DVa going through my tail. Luckily this is the first time I've flown the Se5a since they implemented trim and I can still almost kind of do something useful in the fight. and then... The Fantasy Island map really is very cool. Been playing it more than the channel

elephant Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Your screenshots and skins are superb Rodolphe! B)
Freycinet Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Ah, CloD shows the props as stopped when you pause the game? No, it is done according to the speed you were running the track at before pausing. If you had it running very slow you get the stopped prop, if you had it running at normal speed you get a blurry prop disk. Also depends on engin e revs of the plane in question. Seems Oleg Maddox is a photography freak and had that put into the sim (One of many almost useless but gorgeous details).
ST_ami7b5 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) OK, OK, I promise not to post more of these ... Edited January 8, 2013 by Rinzai

Now I think on it it was probably running on very slow speed as I took a few consecutive shots there, so it must haave been running failry slow. However It would have been the same if not completely stopped for the bomb dropping shot and the props are blurred. Will have a play around again and see what diffenrece it makles next time i fire it up. DCS night tonight.
JG4_Continuo Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 OK, OK, I promise not to post more of these ... Which flight simulator is this?
