SharpeXB Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) A great new feature we got in 1.106 was this: "9. New system preserves your multiple joysticks mappings in case of their ID was changed by DirectX after disconnecting and reconnecting or PC reset (it identifies various control devices by GUIDs and names)" When I check my settings menu in the game nothing seems to have changed. I still see my USB controllers shown using the generic Windows # as "joy1,2" etc. That's fine for me since everything is working. So I won't mess with it. Obviously the new system doesn't erase your current mapping. But I'm curious how this actually works. Do you have to make a completely new Input folder in order to see your devices by name? No_85_Gramps Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I'm guessing that it's latching on to the GUID's but only reporting in the BOS setup the controller number.
