Cavemanhead Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) From a previous Development update: "Meanwhile we continue our work on Battle of Moscow project, there is significant progress in the map department, we'll be able to show you first screenshots of it soon: placing buildings and bridges, setting coordinates of roads and rivers, mapping the settlements and airfields are almost done. For Moscow map we use a new approach for landscape texturing which should make it even more realistic looking and impressive." I've always thought the current landscape looks pretty good... Very interested in seeing the "new approach"... Anyone have any ideas on what the new approach would be? Edited December 20, 2015 by Caveman
-TBC-AeroAce Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Interesting question to which I guess no one but the devs will know the answer to
Jason_Williams Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I have not seen the new textures process in person. Loft tells me they look more detailed somehow, but I can't comment on something I have not seen yet in person. Loft already posted a teaser screen a awhile back that looked pretty good. Jason
