Hi Guys..Hello everyone a couple of days ago while playing in MP mode and piloting a AUSF III Panzer I thought I saw a AUSF IV..Somebody can explain me that..?

There are AI AUSF IVF2's and StuG III's perhaps it was one of them?

Which is indeed a Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2. 

 

(Also, by the way) Ausf. is not used with the tank type numeral, but rather with the subvariant letter, so it's not an Ausf. III or IV, but Pz. (or Panzer or Pz.Kpfw. for Panzer Kampfwagon) Pz. III, IV. Ausf. is short for, Ausführung or variant/version, referring to a sub version of a vehicle type. So Pz. IV Ausf F2, Pz. III Ausf L, StuG III Ausf F etc are the types we have in game.

You can see computer controlled Panzer IV but they cannot be controlled by players (yet!)

Thanks for the extensive tecnical clarification ..so which means it is true that I find a AUSF IV in the game but can not drive yet , it is only the AI can handle that is correct ... well .. ?

Yes, the only two crew-able tanks are Panzer III and T-34

 

There are many other AI types though, tough with PzIII when you find a KV-1

Yep, the Panzer IV is in game, but is AI only, you can only drive the Panzer III and T-34 STZ.

No, you can only find an Ausf F......but you can't drive that either.

Well I understand the Devs as an experiment found they could easily implement the Tank driven by players and had some spare resources to test out the idea. If enough people like it then they may well add more if there is a demand.
