Did you guys find a solution to the problem in the end? I still can't play "online", it let's me log in from time to time, though very rarely. Keep getting the message "cannot connect to authorization server".

Same here  , and the game freezes up  on both on the loading page every time . It did work for half a day at first .  I've really been looking forward to this patch , please fix the  shit out of it    !

Same issue here too. After the initial download/install of 3.001 I launched the game just to make sure the update "took" and it launched normally, which was online mode. The next day the game would not launch in online mode, with the server authentication failure screen others have described. Game launches and plays fine in offline mode.

 

My internet connection was undisturbed and is otherwise performing very well in other applications.

Solved the issue. In my case anyway.

I had my username/password checked to remember. I cleared the fields, unchecked the "remember" box, and deliberately logged in so as to fail. I then re-filled the fields with my username and password, and re-checked the "remember" box: Game successfully launched in online mode.

I was able to solve this issue using a VPN through Europe (normally play NA).  After a while, the NA authentication server sorted itself out and I was able to login without the VPN.

Hello All.

 

Had this issue since updating my Total security solution ( no plugs Sorry) .

Initial issue occured with my Steam game install.

Even tried installing a whole new game from this website and that only worked until i restarted my machine , then same problem.

with now 2 different game file locations ........!!!!!?????????

 

Found out that the server only uses SSL - TSL1 and TSL1.1 which is being deprecated has it can be hacked.

 

Had to add the server site certificate for "HTTPS://https://alpha.il2sturmovik.net" to my windows op in certmgr.msc for both my Steam version and stand alone version to connect to the server so as to be able to continue on with my Career.

 

What fun ,,,,,,, only took 3 weeks to figure out.

Please try this:

WinKey+R-> type cmd-> type in blackbox command tracert alpha.il2sturmovik.net

The first two jumps should be stable, this is your internal network and the router of the telecom operator, then you need to see where the connection breaks off. If there is such a problem, then you need to try using a VPN or write to the technical support of the telecom operator.

Having this issue where master server not recognised, any solutions,reasons?I recently changed my internet connection.
