Guest deleted@50488 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I've discovered that IL-2 BoS is a joy to fly using the mouse! That's my only way to operate it from now on. At least the pitch and yaw wobbling are gone, there are some weird roll hesitations but ... I can live with it... I have just inverted the mouse axis ( witch acts only for pitch inputs and feels more realistic and easier for my brain to cope wirh... ), and set the mouse sensitivity to full left ( minimum ). Even landing provides me a lot less bouncy experiences !!!! Would like to read from other users... Here's the poll... The MOUSE FBW Poll.... Edited December 16, 2015 by JCOMM
Guest deleted@50488 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I no longer use it :-/.... Not being able to use TIR with mouse input is rather limitative for me...
Feathered_IV Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 None of the above. I'm pleased that its there, but it isn't necessary for me to use it personally.
Jirokoh Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I no longer use it :-/.... Not being able to use TIR with mouse input is rather limitative for me... Exactly the same thing here
Lusekofte Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I have invested a lot of time and money for my kit, I cannot imagine me with a mouse on a flight sim. I need a feel of realism. I do not care if it is better . I got the worst setup for dogfighting, but it feels right and I love it. If it is so that the flying is easier with mouse and you can choose to do so in all servers I find it kind of a cheat

You're coming from the tubeliners... Welcome .-)
Lusekofte Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 yupp, need muzzles to maneuver with this But to be honest, making another fm for easier flying with mouse is a MP killer, and it follow a politic by the devs that they want people not owing the hardware to be majority. They clearly got the interface and software to take care of both parties, but choose to neglect those invested in sim equipment. I had a feeling when this all started that the developers focused so much on new players that it went over to obstruct the existing community.
Guest deleted@50488 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I see it more like a way of opening the game to those who can't afford expensive hardware. FFlying with mouse even "takes care" of the problems those without Track IR devices can face when flying against opponents with such devices. I am lucky to have been offered a TIR 5 by a friend, and owning a Saitek Combat Pro rudder and T.16000 joystick, as well as the HOTAS from an old, broken X52 Pro, but not every user can have such a setup, while others can pay for even much more expensive solutions, like the one you have and is certainly a must when flying civil sims or training IFR...
F/JG300_Gruber Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Nice rig LuseKofte ! I love your throttle block. Is it homemade ?
