I just say add it all, but I voted for: IL-4 DB-3 Pe-8 and the SB (Some call it an SB-2, refering to the engines I believe.. I built/painted a kit of an SB that operated in Finland, but anyways it's a company from Russia and the box says SB-2 instead of SB).  Also for the Germans we need the "Greif", Me-323, Ju52, Ju88, and the Storch. The 323 is just to fun to fly and shoot down. So slow, great for practice. With rockets.

I-16 in BoS is Great news, I very much look forward to it! The 20mm ShVAK cannon version would be most welcome

 

About the P-39, the N version would be my favourite - the Q was introduced after Stalingrad anyway.

 

I don't care so much for the .50 mag's, as they usually only 'scratch paint off' enemy fighters, so .30 is just fine, as long as

Mig-3 is of course must have for me, Airacobra might also be a very interesting plane considering it might be physicly correctly modeled in BoS.

 

Il-4 would be a nice competitor to He 111 and Li-2 is another very interesting choice (since it was also used for transport and paratrooper missions) to consider!

A P-39 with a 37mm cannon sounds like a plan. That reminds me, I have to try the 37mm LaGG-3 in multiplayer. I am also looking forward to the I-16. That plane looks like something Snoopy would fly and should definitely be a whole lot of fun.

Could be that the P-39 didn't see much action over Stalingrad, if at all

but then, the Axis flyers get their Fw190 which did fly at the time but far more North, so why not

give us our P-39

I voted P-39 too but would love a Yak 3. I know neither was at Stalingrad but if we're dreaming why not?

 

Makes me wonder how the Dev's would do the FM of the 39 because it seems as though the Soviets did some mods to them to fix factory defects. Really intrigues me that a fighter nobody else wanted or could make work was loved by the VVS.

 

But then I've read some awful stuff about the Mig 3 and that it wasn't just politics that got it nixed as a frontline fighter. Nonetheless it's pretty high on everybody's list.
