What is your preferred aircraft in BoS / BoM

Won't vote because I've no favourite aircraft. I like them all more or less because each has a different character that makes it special.

 

For BoS I'd say my most favoured fighters are the Lagg-3 and Bf-109 G-2. First one because it's a very versatile aircraft and I love the 23mm, second because it is moer stable than the F-4 and still a good performer.

 

As far as attckers/bombers goes my Ju87 wins the price, not only in beauty

Flying a specific aircraft hasn't made me an "overnight ace" and I fly the 109 85% of the time.

 

In fact... Flying a specific aircraft doesn't make any of us an "overnight ace."

Interesting thing, the G2 almost has as many votes as the F4. 

I'm still wondering why, for me the G2 is nothing but a downgrade from the F4, and each time I'm giving it a try, it never fails to disappoint me.

But obviously there are people that seems to enjoy it a lot.

 

Could anybody explain me why ? A taste for challenge ?

Disclaimer: Both German and Soviet aircraft have their own strengths and weaknesses, both being equally challenging to use in their respective styles.

Having just picked up BoM, I still have most of the planes in their plasic wrapping.

 

I think the I-16 is going to be my new favorite for the forseeable future. I'm not very good in the thing, yet, but it made me smile a lot.

Low level, tree top flying in the I-16 is so much fun!
