Is there a way to save axes for each airplane?

Like there is in ROF?

I Use a HOTAS Warthog throttle and use the front afterburner detent to stop throttle right in front of "notleistung".

Sadly the amount of deadzone i have to activate in the axes is not for each plane the same.

For the FW 190 for example it 88% and for the 109 F4 its 76%.

Right now when switching from one plane to the other i have to go to options and change the values manually each time.

It there a way to have this individually saved for each airplane or is this a feature thats to be added maybe later?

Thanks

That or a backup of your input file LOL

Or you would have to come up with a macro or batchfile to skip the manual part :0)

Guess that will be addressed sometime ...

How many years ROF was rolling when it got there anyway, so don't hold your breath :0)))

Lets hope.

Batch would even require to restart the client - right?

Well. I hope they get to do it sometime soon. But i can live with it for now.

Very often some resourceful communitymembers come up with solution to "problems" like that. I just wanted to make sure i didnt miss one of those solutions:)

Thanks!

Yes, is need restart when make changes in config files. The game don't see changes made in this files be external way after started.

But this, various inputs files and a .bat to change in a click - in desktop -  is the best (and only?) option to have more detailed controls...

Or you could apoint a macro for every plane to dito buttons of a controler that supports the like, could even record with it restart of client.

Like you punch A1 of that controler which shuts down the game, copy pastes the proper imput file and restarts game  ...

Just storming the brain . .. LOL

Yes, this game close instantly with Alt+F4.  :)

Warthog is fully programmable using target.

Just leave all settings for bos default and make different target profiles for each aircraft and then you can quickly change controls by alt-tab to target!!!

But this will not allow you to change curves in bos quickly.

^ can you change target profiles with out restarting the client ? I think you can assign curves in target as well and just leave the BOS ones in default.

Yes u can reset target profile ingame without a restart

Doesn't Saitek x55 also supports multiple profiles to walk through on the go?

Just wondering ...

As far as axis setting are concerned, you can even change them on the fly by a button/key binding, without using different profiles. I did that with throttle axis (mostly for the G-2).

But loading different profiles is also not a problem.

True, some people set aileron "trim" for Bf 109 in TARGET.  :)

I certainly do, even for the Yak. I like being able to fine tune how the trim reacts to my inputs.

Which either gives uneven axis response (if shifting the centre position by using a curve) or creates a dead zone on one end and limits total output on the other (if shifting the entire axis).

Both outweight the benefit and can make maneuvering harder imho, but i guess that's subjective.

That is very true. I myself have not found it though to be an issue for me, and that may be more due to how I fly the planes, or maybe my lack of flying properly lol.

I have used it for both Cliffs of Dover and BOS pretty much all the time.
